Kelly Olynyk, who has been a fixture at the Celtics' Waltham workout facility this summer, worked out with Brad Stevens and assistant Jay Larranaga prior to this afternoon's practice at Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City.
The Celtics summer league team kicks off with a game against host Utah tomorrow night, plays two more games here, and then flies to Las Vegas for that city's mammoth tournament.
Olynyk, who doubts he will play for team Canada in the upcoming Pan American games, simply wants to stay close to his coaching staff.
"I’ve been in Boston for at least five weeks," he said.
