When you spend over $6 billion I suppose you want to add your own personal footprint to your acquisition, but the guess here is not all Boston Celtics fans will be thrilled to hear what the team's new owner's first major change is. In an attempt to be more inclusive to Celtics Nation Bill Chisholm today annonced that they will be retiring Lucky the Leprechaun at the end of the regular season and debuting their new mascot "Shamrock" in Game 1 of their first round playoff series.

After seeing the blowback that the Dallas Mavericks' new owners received after trading their 25 year old superstar Luka Doncic, Chisholm decided to hire a public relations consulting firm to first vet the five finalists for the team's new mascot and the dancing Shamrock proved to be the most popular.
