Toronto Raptors forward Kawhi Leonard will soon be sporting a new look on his feet.
Footwear company New Balance, which was founded and is headquartered in the Boston area, revealed its first look at Leonard’s debut game shoe Friday afternoon. Set to make the third All-Star appearance of his career, Leonard will choose from six colorways of the new OMN1S basketball shoe to wear in Sunday’s All-Star game.
After word of a multiyear endorsement deal leaked in November, New Balance and Leonard formally announced their partnership Thursday. Leonard’s previous contract with Jordan Brand ended in October, though the 27-year-old continued to don last year’s Air Jordan 32 Low model in games following its expiration.
