NBA TV's Sam Mitchell and Steve Smith both pick the Boston Celtics to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. There was total agreement between the two analysts. They also chose Philadelphia over Miami in the first round.
That left Boston facing Philly in the second round, and Mitchell and Smith both picked the 76'ers to come out victorious and headed to the Eastern Finals. Their reasoning was based on Boston's numerous injuries and depleted ranks, in addition to the 76'ers talent and ability to score under the hoop, from mid-range and in transition.
