According to Bobby Marks, $100,000 is the most the NBA can fine a player for "conduct or statements prejudicial or detrimental to the best interests of basketball, the NBA, or a team."

James Harden recently went off on 76ers president Daryl Morey, called him a liar, and said he'd never play for an organization that he was a part of.
