It’s been a tough week for the Celtics after three consecutive games were postponed due to COVID-related health and safety protocols and Jayson Tatum and Robert Williams both tested positive for the coronavirus, but in a blowout win against the Orlando Magic on Friday night, there was cause for celebration:
Unfortunately, Tacko Fall’s size-22’s were over the line and that bank shot only counted for two. The stoic big man simply jogged back, played D, and then came back and ripped through tight defense for a monster dunk.
With the Celtics with two healthy centers, Tristan Thompson and Daniel Theis, Fall has reverted back to the deep bench, but in his brief time in the rotation, he’s shown a lot of improvement since last year and could be a viable option as a match up-based player down the road.
