After Boston dropped a Christmas Day stinker to the 76ers and an uninspiring effort to the Pacers, the Celtics got Jrue Holiday for the start of 2025. They’re now on a three-game winning streak including winning their first two against the Western Conference’s best, and while it hasn’t all been about the 34-year-old’s presence, he’s been awesome so far in his return.
After missing three games with a shoulder impingement, Holiday has come back strong in three straight Celtics wins. Against the Rockets on Friday night on the second half of a back-to-back, he scored 14 points (2-of-5 from behind the arc), grabbed four rebounds, and dished out three assists.
