After taking three players in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics were up first in the second round of the draft, only this time, they decided to not keep the pick.
With the 31st overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics selected Deyonta Davis from Michigan State University. Davis, though, won't play for Boston, as he was part of a trade that sent the rights for him, along with the rights for the 35th overall pick to the Memphis Grizzlies for a 2019 first round draft pick.
