Marcus Morris played three quarters’ worth of a Maine Red Claws scrimmage Monday in Waltham, and is likely drawing near his actual Celtics debut.
Asked how much the soreness in his left knee has subsided, the Celtics forward said, “From the last time I first felt it I was probably about a 9, it was kind of unbearable. Now I think it’s like a 2 or 1. It’s come along really well.”
Morris’ availability for Wednesday’s game against Sacramento will obviously depend in part on how he feels tomorrow.
“Whenever they think I’m ready, that’s when I’m gonna play,” he said before the Celts tipped off against the Spurs.
