The Celtics were in trouble late in the fourth quarter of Tuesday night’s Game 1 win against the Pacers after blowing several leads.
There were some fans who ended up leaving early, and missing Jaylen Brown’s heroic 3-pointer that tied the game, forced overtime, and helped the Celtics secure series-opening win.
Celtics center Luke Kornet was asked if he had a response to the fans who left early. He decided to have some fun, answering in a humorous tone.
“Speaking for myself and my family, I know that the 8:00 start times can be a little late and the kids wake up at about the same time,” Kornet said with a smile.
