Key Moment
The Boston Celtics have been lauded for the energy they’ve brought off the bench this season, and with good reason: They entered Sunday averaging 42.2 bench points, which at the time ranked them second in the league.
Boston’s Sunday night opponent, however, gave it a taste of its own medicine.
The Orlando Magic bench outscored the Celtics’ subs 46-31, including a 33-point combined effort from Andrew Nicholson and Victor Oladipo.
That energetic duo was too much to handle on a night when Boston lacked its usual bench mojo, and it resulted in a 110-91 Orlando win.
