Key Moment
The Boston Celtics were one of the best defensive teams in the league through their first 12 games.
Now, teams are suddenly penetrating through them like water.
Two nights after surrendering 111 points in a 10-point loss to the Brooklyn Nets, Boston suffered its worst defeat of the season, a 121-97 thrashing Tuesday night in Atlanta.
Forty of Atlanta’s points came during the fourth quarter, when it outscored Boston by 16.
It was not a complete drubbing throughout, however, as the Hawks only held an 83-77 lead with 10 minutes to go in the game.
