Kendrick Perkins’ affinity for doling out critical takes against the Celtics has been well-documented.
His blunt commentary against Joe Mazzulla, Boston’s roster, and in particular star forward Jayson Tatum has apparently made the ex-Celtics center and current ESPN pundit persona non grata at TD Garden.
But Perkins changed his tune on Wednesday when it came to Tatum, who he has publicly lambasted over the years regarding his standing as one of the NBA’s top stars.
After Tatum submitted a dominant performance in Boston’s 120-117 win over the previously unbeaten Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday, Perkins was ready to give the forward his flowers.
