Early this morning, Team USA faced off against the Australian Boomers at MARVEL Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. The game was at 5:30 a.m. eastern time for us here in America, so it certainly was not an easy one to catch on a weekday morning. That being said, it was a memorable game as Team USA (though a bit rocky in the first half) ended up winning with a score of 102-86 and the Celtics' core once again filled the stat sheet.
In a change of pace for Team USA, Boston Celtics' shooting guard Jaylen Brown started for the first time alongside his newest Celtics' teammate Kemba Walker.
