Keith Bogans wants everyone to remember he was paid to stay home

Do you remember Keith Bogans? He and his non-guaranteed $5 million contract came over from Brooklyn in the Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett deal. Bogans played in a whopping 6 games for the Cs before he was mysteriously ordered to stay away from the team. Bogans was finally dealt to Cleveland for Dwight Powell in January 2014.

Why am I bringing this up? Because the 35-year old Bogans is desperate for another shot in the NBA and wants to set the record straight. Via the Boston Herald:

Bogans’ claim of not knowing a reason, however, runs counter to the team’s understanding.
