Now that the Celtics are out of the postseason (after doing better against the Cavs than the Hawks did!) and the NBA draft is approaching, I’m sure a lot of fans are starting to wish that the Celtics had a higher draft pick. Getting swept in the first round doesn’t seem to be worth moving down five or spots in an intriguing draft – but there are some silver linings. In fact, of all the teams that made the playoffs, the Celtics may have gained the most in terms of player progression
The notion that playing in the postseason can be a valuable experience is nothing new.
