Jordan Mickey will hit the waivers and become a free-agent after the Celtics have waived the big-man out of LSU.
Mickey is in an interesting spot. Asked out of summer league so he could continue workout regimen in Texas, but missed a chance to be seen.
Mickey played two seasons for the C's, averaging 1.4 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 0.4 blocks in 4.8 minutes per game over the course of his Boston career. He started one game in place of Amir Johnson this past season but otherwise was buried deep in the depth chart.
