The NBA announced on Tuesday night that Boston Celtics guard Jayson Tatum has been selected to participate in the Taco Bell Skills Challenge at this season’s All-Star Weekend in Charlotte. Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe previously reported that Tatum received an invitation to participate in the competition.
Tatum will also represent the Celtics in the Rising Stars game, while Kyrie Irving will serve as the team’s honorary coach. The 20-year-old participated in the Rising Stars game last year at All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles alongside teammate Jaylen Brown, where he played a game-high 26 minutes, scoring 15 points on 7/13 shooting with 4 rebounds and 2 assists.
