Jayson Tatum, fresh from a loss Wednesday night to the Golden State Warriors — what many dubbed “a revenge game” — said, “I’m always going to do whatever the [expletive] I want to do,” responding to a post-game gaggle question from The Boston Globe’s Gary Washburn.
And do that he did last night, helping lead the team to a bounce-back nail-biter overtime win, beating the Brooklyn Nets, 108-104.
Shaky at first — with the Celtics calling an early timeout two minutes in, fumbling several missed blocks and picking up a handful of turnovers — Tatum ultimately delivered, scoring 33 points with the Celtics netting out the win.
