As the second week of this NBA season begins, Jayson Tatum has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played from Oct. 22 to 27.
This recognition comes after a striking start to the season, during which Tatum helped lead the Celtics to a record of 3-0 against the Knicks, Wizards and Pistons.
The 2024 NBA champion averaged 30 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists, shooting over 50 percent from the field. He also has the most three-pointers in the first three games of a season in Celtics history, making 17 over the last week.
