Jaylen Brown missed Saturday’s game against the Hornets as he deals with a lingering hip injury.
Brown told Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe that he plans to get the hip checked out by doctors and have some medical scans done. He tweaked his hip during the third quarter of Friday’s game.
“I got an MRI in training camp and it’s been back and forth since then,” Brown said. “[Friday] I think I extended it a little more, and it’s already been giving me some trouble. I’m going to have to get another MRI and go from there.
