Jaylen Brown isn’t being shy about it. He wants to play in his first All-Star Game.
The Celtics’ swingman is putting up a season that appears worthy of getting an All-Star nod. Brown’s scoring a team-high 26 points per game, which is also good for the 10th best scoring average in the league. He’s averaging 5.6 rebounds and a career-high 3.4 assists per game. Brown also has career bests in field goal percentage (51.4) and 3-point shooting percentage (41.5).
There’s a couple of added bonuses for Brown to make the All-Star team, too. If he’s named to the roster, Brown will receive a $1.
