Jaylen Brown owns shooting struggles, ‘lackluster energy’ against Pacers

The Celtics had a bad shooting night against the Pacers Wednesday night. They shot 40.4 percent from the field in the loss to Indiana.

That’s worse than their average team 3-point percentage for the season, which is 40.7 percent.

The shots weren’t falling Wednesday night. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown struggled, going a combined 21-for-55 from the field.

Brown’s 3-point woes stood out. He went 1-for-11 from beyond the arc and air-balled a 3-pointer on the Celtics’ final possession. Brown said that he didn’t have his legs under him on the final play and lacked explosion throughout the night.
