Jaylen Brown misses Celtics game vs. Pistons with thigh contusion

Celtics forward Jaylen Brown missed Wednesday night’s game against the Pistons. The team announced Wednesday evening that Brown was out with a thigh contusion.

According to The Boston Globe, Brown took a knee to the thigh early in the third quarter of Tuesday night’s win against the Raptors. Brown, who eventually returned to the game, was scheduled for further treatment when the team got to Detroit on Wednesday.

Brown has played in 49 of the Celtics’ 58 games this season. He dealt with a hip flexor injury in November and missed a pair of games with a knee injury earlier this month.
