The Celtics might have their sights on trying to become the first NBA team in seven years to win back-to-back titles on the court.
But off the hardwood, the Celtics are also in a state of transition — with the franchise currently up for sale and in the process of accepting bids from interested parties.
According to The Boston Globe, Celtics co-owner Steve Pagliuca, Celtics limited partner Robert Hale, and Mark Bezos have all expressed interest in buying the team — while Boston native and Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie downplayed talk that he was interested in the bidding on Monday.
