On Thursday night, LeBron James and Kevin Durant (who will miss the game because of a left hamstring strain) drafted their teams for March 7th’s NBA All-Star Game. After Jayson Tatum was elevated as a starter by virtue of being the fourth-leading vote getting in the Eastern Conference frontcourt, the starters basically shook out along conference lines with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kawhi Leonard swapping sides:
Tatum will join Bradley Beal on Team Durant as starters. Tatum and Beal are both St. Louis natives and Chaminade College Preparatory School grads.
