Boston Celtics All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas worked his team's trade-craving fan base into a lather on Monday night after tweeting an eyes-wide-open emoji.
The last time Thomas sent the same tweet in July, the Celtics signed free-agent Al Horford soon after.
The Celtics, second in the East, sit three games behind Cleveland in the Eastern Conference. Armed with a treasure trove of assets, including what might be the No. 1 pick in the 2017 draft via a pick swap with cellar-dwelling Brooklyn, the Celtics have the ammunition that could help them add impact talent before Thursday's trade deadline.
