Isaiah Thomas was one of the best players in the NBA last season, finishing 5th in the MVP voting. After averaging numbers like 28.9 ppg, and 5.9 apg on 47% shooting, you would expect this all-NBA talent to be amongst the most valued players in the league. And while he is valued in the hearts of Celtics fans, the players, and the rest of the organization, Isaiah’s paychecks don’t look nearly as nice as they should. IT’s contract is one of the biggest steals in the league. He is expected to make only 6.5 million dollars next season. Just as a reference point, he is making about 10 million dollars less than Timofey Mozgov next season.
