Ime Udoka isn’t getting mad at the Boston Celtics for having suspended him ahead of the 2022-23 season and ultimately released him this past February due to an inappropriate relationship with a female staffer in the Cs organization.
He’s getting even.
Instead of taking legal action to contest his firing, Udoka is looking to take two assistants from the coaching staff of the man that replaced him, Joe Mazzulla: those being Ben Sullivan and Aaron Miles per Michael Scotto of Hoopshype.
Joe Mazzulla’s Boston Celtics coaching staff will look drastically different in 2023-24
If the Boston Celtics were to win an NBA championship, it’s almost certain that several of Mazzulla’s current assistants would find higher-ranking jobs on a different coaching staff.
