When Mavericks coach Jason Kidd stirred the pot Saturday by calling Jaylen Brown the Celtics’ best player, the vast majority of Celtics didn’t take the bait.
Brown said he has no reaction. Jayson Tatum called it a team sport. Al Horford said he could see what Kidd was doing.
But Jrue Holiday had a different response. He backed up Kidd’s claim.
“I don’t think he’s lying,” Holiday said on SiriusXM NBA Radio. “I think JB has been aggressive in every single way. He’s been getting to the paint, getting to the free-throw line, and then also making plays for other people.
