Hunter rests his shoulder

R.J. Hunter's sore shoulder would normally be fodder for a good shooter's joke, except that the Celtics rookie is nursing a subluxation of his left, non-gunner's shoulder. The shoulder popped in and out Thursday night as Hunter ran into a pick. He was on the way to scoring 28 points in his Maine Red Claws debut.

As a result he'll miss today's game against the Nets, and sit out for what Celtics coach Brad Stevens will be a "short term" situation. Hunter doesn't sound too worried. He's had trouble with the shoulder before, and claims it doesn't need surgery.
