I’ve alluded to it many times, but for those unaware: I am in Germany right now.
Since March 1, all my Boston Celtics watching, writing, and writhing in pain has come from Germany while I study at a university here until August. It’s been an incredible experience but has the awkward drawback of being six hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time, making Celtics games start sometime between 1 and 2 a.m. local time.
It’s not an insurmountable hurdle. The venerable Adam Taylor has been perfecting European CelticsBlogging over in England since before I could even form complete sentences, and I am nothing if not determined to come up with ways to still enjoy the playoff run I may just remember for the rest of my life.
