Max Strus is a 6-6 guard who is an undrafted rookie out of Depaul University. Strus started his college career at Lewis University, before transferring to Depaul for his final two years. While in college, Strus became a scoring machine; ultimately how he got on the Boston Celtics’ radar.
In his senior year, Strus averaged 20 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 0.9 steal per game. Along the way, Strus became third on Depaul’s all time three-point list with 194 made three-pointers. The guard’s ability to score the ball is what appeals to Boston Celtics’ Head Coach Brad Stevens.
