BOSTON – Jared Sullinger is on the verge of a career year.
That’s at least what history strongly predicts.
It’s no secret that Sullinger, considered by most to be a lottery-level talent when Boston selected him 21st overall in 2012, is heading into a contract year. The upcoming season will stand as is his opportunity to show the Celtics, and the rest of the NBA for that matter, that he’s deserving of a massive pay raise.
The potential for a massive pay raise tends to motivate players and push them to new heights.
