Jimmy Butler and Jae Crowder had at least two things in common last night: They both played at Marquette, and they both came into the game at the Garden feeling under the weather.
In fact, Crowder was so ill during the day that Celtics coach Brad Stevens said he sat out the team’s walk-through. But when the lights came on that didn’t stop him from going at it with Butler as hard as he could.
“I love the way they compete against each other,” Bulls guard Derrick Rose said. “For them to have that history and still go out and play, and try to win the matchup every night, it shows a lot between the two players.
