Guerschon Yabusele, the 16th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, will debut with the Maine Red Claws Friday against the Greensboro Swarm.
Yabusele spent most of the season in China, playing alongside Jimmer Fredette with the Shanghai Sharks. On Yao Ming’s old squad, Yabusele averaged 20.9 points and 9.4 rebounds in 43 games. He showed his potential in China by bullying bigs with his strength and blowing by them with his incredible foot speed for his size.
