It seems there's still a chance for R.J. Hunter to make it in this league.
Blazers will sign guard RJ Hunter to Summer League contract. He will run point. He was a first round pick by Boston in 2015.
Of course, the chance is among the slimmest, with the former Boston Celtic guard having been signed to play for the Portland Trailblazer's Summer League squad, but a chance it is, nonetheless. Should the young shooter shoot well enough to stick, he'll be joining a team that can certainly use more of that skill on the cheap, after overspending on the likes of former teammate Evan Turner and Alan Crabbe.
