Enes Kanter will not be suiting up for Boston’s home opener against the defending champion Toronto Raptors due to a left knee contusion.
Kanter appeared to injure himself in the first half against the Philadelphia 76ers when he tripped over a fallen player. Kanter stayed down for a moment before hobbling back on defense. Although he finished the rest of the game, it’s clear that this is an issue that the team would rather be careful with.
Enes Kanter finished the game with 12 points and 6 rebounds after getting his first start with the Celtics in his first game with the team.
