Derrick White was back in his bag in the second half of the Celtics win over the Mavericks on Saturday night.
The elite two-way guard was on fire for a large chunk of the beginning of Boston’s season. He held a 3-point percentage of 41.8 percent (77 of 184) through his first 20 games of 2024. Recently, though, those numbers took a nosedive.
Twice in the last 10 games, White has only scored three points. His worst performance of the season came in a loss to the Sacramento Kings, where he posted three points on 1-8 shooting and 0-6 from 3-point range.
