This time next week, Danny Ainge will be a much busier man.
The NBA trade deadline is next Thursday, and with the Celtics looking more and more like legitimate contenders in the Eastern Conference, the pressure will be on Ainge to improve his team. On 98.5 the SportsHub this morning, Ainge explained that he won't be mortgaging the future for a rental player.
“I’m certainly aware of all of our competition around the East. It’s not from a lack of desire to want to do a trade, but as an organization we have priorities and a plan,” Ainge said.
