NBC Sports' A. Sherrod Blakely seems to think Al Horford might leave the Boston Celtics for the Brooklyn Nets, but I am skeptical of this take.
Blakely cites a "league source" who "is another potential addition" for the Nets, which, to me, sounds an awful lot like "someone who works for the Nets is throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks".
Granted, Brooklyn is a team on the rise, but with rumbles tying Horford to the Dallas Mavericks, it doesn't seem like Horford is much more than a backup plan for the Nets in case they can't steal Kevin Durant away from the Golden State Warriors.
