The Colorado men’s basketball team immortalized Derrick White on Saturday afternoon.
White, who had free time during the NBA All-Star break, was added to the Buffaloes Wall of Honor during Colorado’s home game against UCF, which the team called “Derrick White Day.” The Buffaloes held a ceremony to unveil White’s jersey hanging high above the court.
White is among the first 10 honorees in the Wall of Honor, which Colorado announced prior to the beginning of this season. Colorado’s focus is on former players who “achieved at least five years of service in the NBA,” according to the team’s website.
