Boston Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge makes a brief cameo in a BYU-themed rap song, "Tellin You Y," by James the Mormon.
Ainge, wearing a BYU polo and visor, and flanked by Celtics players Isaiah Thomas and Gerald Green, sings the line, "I'm telling you Y" from the perch outside his office at the team's practice facility in Waltham, Massachusetts. Some of Boston's championship banners are visible in the background.
The video features other BYU Hall of Famers like Ty Detmer and Austin Collie. The 57-year-old Ainge led the Cougars in scoring each of his four years at BYU from 1977-81 and was inducted in the BYU Hall of Fame in 1991.
