If free agents thinking about playing for the Boston Celtics needed any more reason, here’s some. The Celtics are kicking off the 2016 off-season by announcing their plans to open a new practice facility by Spring 2018, according to CBS Boston. The plan is to start building this fall in the Allston-Brighton neighborhood.
Teams are always looking to upgrade their facilities with the newest and greatest technology. This won’t make Boston incredibly more appealing for free agents, however, it can’t hurt either.
The Celtics will be showing off 17 championship banners that will be visible from the highway through a 40-foot glass wall.
