Brad Stevens and the Boston Celtics have decided to use their last open roster spot on former lottery pick Nik Stauskas.
Nik Stauskas is signing a two-year deal with the Boston Celtics, his agents Mark Bartelstein and Andy Shiffman of @PrioritySports tell ESPN. Stauskas had an historic week, scoring 100 points on 57 and 43 point performances in back-to-back games for Grand Rapids.
The 28 year old sharp shooter's NBA career fizzled out a few years ago and since then has only played 2 games in the league during a cup of coffee stint with the Miami Heat this season.
