The Boston Celtics have signed undrafted rookie Hason Ward to an Exhibit-10 contract. To make room they have waived center Dmytro Skapintsev. Ward who is originally from Barbados played his highschool ball in Springfield. MA. He then split five years of college at VCU and Iowa State.
Both Ward and Skapintsev are expected to still start the season in Maine.
