MEXICO CITY – Rajon Rondo will face the Boston Celtics for the second time in his career at 10 p.m. tonight in Mexico City.
The Celtics hope this matchup will be much different than the first.
Rondo was clearly motivated to play his former team for the first time on Jan. 2 of last season. He scored 29 points and made five of his seven 3-point attempts in the game, leading Dallas to a 119-101 win.
“(He) killed us,” Celtics head coach Brad Stevens said Wednesday afternoon.
