The Celtics are very much enjoying the present benefits and looking forward to more gifts from a change in pace of life. They have played just once in the last week-plus, and there are a modest 38 games left between now and the regular-season curtain on April 11.
After enduring 43 games in 82 days to accommodate their desire for buffer periods around their trip to London, they will now be able to get proper amounts of both days off and practice time.
The C’s flew home Friday, practiced Saturday and took yesterday off before returning to their facility for another session today in preparation for a visit by the New Orleans Pelicans tomorrow night.
