Marcus Smart’s right hand appears to be mending on schedule.
The Celtics guard, who suffered a serious laceration after punching a hotel picture frame just over two weeks ago, was spotted in the locker room last night with just a bandage over the cut, which required 20 stitches.
But don’t expect him back until after the All-Star break Feb. 15-22, when the team believes he will be ready.
Last night’s game against the Pacers was the ninth straight he has missed to the injury. That total is expected to reach 11 after tomorrow’s game against Cleveland and Wednesday against the Clippers.
