Celtics notebook: Marcus Morris sore over big fall

It’s one of the odder allowances still on the books in the NBA. Play is allowed to continue with a player down on the floor, especially when the other team has the ball, preventing the coach of the injured player to call a timeout.

Such was the nature of Marcus Morris’ fall onto his hip from a dunk in the third quarter last night, with the Knicks’ Michael Beasley inadvertently aiding the fall when he made contact to the back of the Celtics forward’s head.
